Religious Studies Association (RSA)
The Religious Studies Association (RSA) is a student-run organization providing a forum for discussions in the critical, comparative, and cross-cultural study of religion and to promote understanding of Religious Studies and its relevance to contemporary society. We also offer a variety of opportunities to explore the possibilities of the field of religious studies, both before and after graduation.
RSA is open to all University of Tennessee students and full-time faculty regardless of major or departmental affiliation. We do not endorse any particular religious creed or ideology, but rather are focused on the academic study of religions.
Past events have included film screenings, presentations by University of Tennessee professors, community leaders, and students, and other events that challenge our members to think critically and discuss the influence of religion on the world.
If you wish to join RSA or have questions/suggestions for future events, please find us on Facebook.
