Pace Robinson

Pace Robinson
Pace Robinson (1958 – 2023) was a third-generation Tennessean from a family with a long history of giving back to their community. Pace retired as CEO of Modern Supply Co., which is a wholesale distribution company that sells Heating and Air and Kitchen and Bath products around East Tennessee. He was born and raised in Knoxville and spent much of his life here except for a few years at a certain unnamed university in the state of FL. Years ago Pace and his wife Karen generously endowed the “Karen and Pace Robinson Lecture on Modern Israel” through the University of Tennessee’s Fern and Manfred Steinfeld Program in Judaic Studies, and their generosity continues to help make programming available to UT students and to our community in Knoxville. Pace served as chair of the Department of Religious Studies’ Board of Visitors and was a former Chancellor’s Associate.
